The first web design was thought to have been published in August of 1991, by a gentleman known as Tim Berners-Lee. It was thought that he used a form of hypertexting in a very basic form of HTML.
The designs of today are much different in complexity and diversity. We have basic "static" sites with info, more involved ones with applications and response, as well as interactive.
